Who says you have to get older as you get older? Is it a rule that the aging process brings with it expanding waistlines, disease and frailty? I think not!
I’ve set my mind to the idea of getting healthier and stronger as I grow older.
I really love food. I love to eat and I have a raging sweet tooth! But, I’ve decided it was time I change my mind about what I define as “good food” and start paying more attention to what is in the things I eat and whether or not it’s giving my body what it needs to be strong and healthy.
I don’t exactly love exercise, but I do love what it does for me! It feels so good to be strong and fit! It’s worth the effort!
By combining an active lifestyle with counting calories I’ve been changing my life for the better. I’ve lost over 25 pounds and I’ve never felt better!
But this is an ongoing process, a lifestyle, an adventure.
It’s not always easy, and I need a way to hold myself accountable. This blog is designed to keep me on track, but I really hope in the process that I can help inspire and motivate others to make similar changes in their lives.
